Group 1 Software Significantly Expands
Latin American Customer Base
New Customers Include Leading Telecommunications ProvidersAxtel Mexico, BellSouth Peru, and Telia Swedtel de Colombia
Lanham, MD- Group 1 Software (Nasdaq: GSOF) today announced that leading telecommunications firms in Mexico, Peru, and Colombia have selected Group 1's DOC1 customer relationship communications solution to generate and deliver personalized business documents. The new customers include Axtel Mexico, BellSouth Peru and Telia Swedtel de Colombia. The DOC1 product suite enables companies to create high impact personalized communications for delivery in print or via Web, e-mail, fax or wireless devices.
Axtel, a large and rapidly growing local exchange carrier in Mexico, sought a solution that could keep pace with its changing document generation needs.
"DOC1 will provide us with the necessary flexibility, reliability and scalability in a document composition application," said Emilio Rodriguez, IT billing manager at Axtel. "By processing our end-users' billing through DOC1, it will serve as a fundamental part of our billing stream. DOC1 will enable us to develop and deliver bills, collection letters and marketing inserts."
As part of an effort to build its image as a state-of-the-art company, BellSouth Peru sought to enhance its customer communications through clear, concise, and in-depth invoicing.

Telia Swedtel de Colombia, a business integrator, selected DOC1 to create personalized business documents for its wholly owned subsidiary Capitel.
