BISYS Selects Group 1 for Personalized Business Documents
Lanham, MD — Group 1 Software (Nasdaq: GSOF) announced today that The BISYS Group (Nasdaq: BSYS) has selected Group 1's DOC1 electronic document composition system. BISYS supports more than 9,500 financial institutions and corporate clients through its integrated business units providing information, investment, and insurance services. BISYS will use DOC1 to support its 350 banking solution clients. DOC1 is the fastest way to produce dynamic, easy-to-read, personalized business documents for print and on-line delivery.

Designed for seamless, one-to-one customer communication, DOC1 is an easy to use document composition system that facilitates the design and production of attractive, easy-to-read statements, bills and invoices. The DOC1 system allows dynamic document applications to be developed in a WYSIWYG environment on a Windows NT workstation. The DOC1 production engine can run under MVS, Windows NT, Windows 2000, UNIX (Sun Solaris, HP/UX and AIX, DEC UNIX), Open VMS, OS/400 or PC DOS. DOC1 generates XML, PDF, and HTML for Web presentment as well as AFP, HP/PCL, Postscript, Metacode, and line data for high-speed production printing.
